Phil Libin's mmhmm Releases Beta 2 With Copilot Presentation Feature
Virtual presentation software mmhmm opens its Beta 2 to a 100,000-person waitlist and introduces a multiplayer Copilot feature. The tool allows users to create highly produced, interactive video presentations directly from their computers.
Phil Libin's virtual presentation software mmhmm officially launches Beta 2 today, granting access to its 100,000-person waitlist. The application transforms standard video calls into polished, late-night show-style productions by allowing users to dynamically resize their picture-in-picture video feeds, apply visual effects, and control slide decks on the fly.
The standout addition in this update is a feature called Copilot, which enables two users to run a single presentation simultaneously. One person acts as the speaker and on-camera talent while the other acts as an executive producer, managing the slides, playing videos, and adjusting the visual effects without interrupting the flow of the presentation.
Alongside Copilot, mmhmm introduces Dynamic Rooms that let users design and save custom background templates. Backed by $4.5 million in funding from Sequoia Capital and various notable tech investors, the platform also allows beta testers to invite one friend per day to experience the multiplayer capabilities.
