The San Francisco-based startup raises $2.7 million in a seed round backed by Y Combinator, Cathexis Ventures, and several prominent tech founders. Currently operating in a private beta phase, Recall.ai supports about 50 companies across diverse sectors like sales, healthcare, education, and customer support.
Co-founders David Gu and Amanda Zhu create the startup after experiencing firsthand the time-intensive challenge of building and maintaining meeting integrations for their previous research tool. Recall.ai solves this problem by saving engineering teams up to a year of development time and eliminating the need to manage hundreds of scaling servers.
