Inflection AI, a new Silicon Valley startup co-founded by LinkedIn billionaire Reid Hoffman and DeepMind co-founder Mustafa Suleyman, successfully recruits top artificial intelligence talent away from tech giants Google and Meta. The company focuses on developing AI software products that make it easier for humans to communicate directly with computers.

Heinrich Kuttler leaves his role as a research engineering manager at Meta AI in London to join Inflection's founding technical team, while Joe Fenton departs from his senior product manager position at Google to lead the product side of the business. Both of these highly educated recruits previously work alongside Suleyman at DeepMind.

This new venture marks the first company Hoffman co-founds since selling LinkedIn to Microsoft for $26.2 billion in 2016, and it represents the first new company for Suleyman since selling DeepMind to Google in 2014. Hoffman describes artificial intelligence as one of the most transformative technologies of our time and expresses excitement about building Inflection with his co-founders.
