The original spring release fails after multiple review units break, forcing Samsung to rethink the entire device. To fix the issues, Samsung extends the screen protector under the bezels to prevent users from peeling it off. The manufacturer also tightens the gaps in the folding mechanism to stop particles from getting behind the screen.
