Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Offers Better Grip but Lacks Premium Specs
Samsung shrinks its Galaxy Note 10 to fit the signature S Pen into a more compact body. However, a lower-resolution screen and missing features make the $950 price tag hard to justify.
Samsung introduces a smaller version of its Galaxy Note 10, packing a 6.3-inch screen into a body roughly the size of an iPhone XS. This compact design allows more users to enjoy the series' hallmark S Pen without carrying a cumbersome handset. The smaller footprint makes the phone comfortable to hold and use with one hand.
To achieve this smaller size, Samsung makes several noticeable tradeoffs. The Note 10 features a full HD display instead of a quad HD screen, which feels outdated for a premium device. Additionally, the company removes the microSD card slot, a feature that power users have relied on since the beginning of the Note series.
These downgrades prove difficult to ignore given the steep $950 price point. Samsung clearly targets a broader audience that prioritizes the S Pen experience over raw specifications. However, those who expect top-tier specs for such a high price likely find better value elsewhere.
