ServiceNow Partners With Anthropic to Embed Claude Across Enterprise Workflows
ServiceNow signs a multi-year deal to make Anthropic's Claude its preferred AI model for workflow products, just days after a similar pact with OpenAI. The company says it is pursuing a multi-model strategy to give enterprise customers flexible AI choices.
ServiceNow enters a multi-year partnership with AI research lab Anthropic to deeply integrate the Claude model family into its enterprise workflow platform. Claude becomes the preferred AI model across ServiceNow’s AI-driven products and serves as the default engine for ServiceNow Build Agent, a tool that helps developers create agentic workflows and applications.
This agreement arrives just one week after ServiceNow announced a separate AI partnership with OpenAI, highlighting a deliberate multi-model approach. ServiceNow executives explain that enterprise customers demand model choice to match the right AI to the right task, allowing the company to orchestrate different model strengths while maintaining consistent security and governance.
Beyond customer-facing products, the deal extends internally by rolling Claude out to ServiceNow’s 29,000 employees and providing engineers with access to Anthropic’s Claude Code tool. This partnership adds to a growing list of major enterprise agreements for Anthropic, following recent collaborations with Allianz, Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, and Snowflake.
