This email-inspired feature addresses a common frustration for users who often type messages in separate notepad apps before sending them.
In addition to drafts, Skype now allows users to bookmark important messages by long-pressing or right-clicking and selecting the bookmark option for easy retrieval. The platform also adds media previews so users can check photos, videos, and files before sending them, and it groups multiple shared images together behind a clickable plus button to prevent overwhelming the recipient.
Separate from the messaging enhancements, Skype expands its split window support to all versions of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
