Major social media platforms are attaching warning labels to false premature victory claims made by Donald Trump and his allies as votes continue to be counted across several critical states.

However, Twitter does not hide or restrict the engagement on these affiliated accounts' posts like it does for the president's direct tweets.

Even though the original author issues a correction and deletes the post after discovering the claims stem from a typo, the misinformation already spreads widely.
