Tesla Expands Full Self-Driving Beta Access to All North American Owners

Tesla fulfills a major 2022 goal by rolling out its Full Self-Driving Beta software to all eligible owners in North America. Customers who purchased the package can now request the update directly from their vehicle's touchscreen.

Tesla officially achieves a major milestone by releasing its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta to all eligible owners across North America. CEO Elon Musk confirms that anyone who purchases the FSD package or monthly subscription now has the ability to request the software directly from their car's touchscreen display.

This wide release fulfills one of the two primary goals Musk sets for the company this year. He publicly praises the Tesla Autopilot and AI teams for their persistent efforts, noting that reaching this milestone requires incredible dedication from highly talented individuals.

The current rollout features FSD Beta version 10.69.3.1 (firmware 2022.36.20) for users in the United States and Canada. Meanwhile, the highly anticipated next major update, FSD Beta V11, experiences a slight delay and remains in limited internal testing with Tesla employees until December.
