The application provides access to a massive database of over 1,000 football terms, player information, game schedules, live scores, and stadium details. Users ask questions about specific players or historical Super Bowl data, and the app delivers short or long audio definitions alongside visual videos and images on screen-equipped Alexa devices.
This release also features a five-minute weekly podcast called "Game Plan," hosted by former Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora, and integrates the league's existing flash briefing. This standalone skill represents just the first phase of the NFL's larger, long-term voice strategy.
