UiPath Buys Re:infer to Boost AI and Language Capabilities

UiPath acquires London-based Re:infer to strengthen its natural language processing offerings and help enterprises tackle unstructured data.

UiPath acquires London-based startup Re:infer to enhance its natural language processing capabilities. Re:infer specializes in converting unstructured data, such as emails and documents, into structured data that businesses can easily analyze and use within their automated workflows.

While robotic process automation traditionally relies on strict rules, UiPath actively integrates artificial intelligence through its AI Center. Adding Re:infer's native NLP technology allows the company to better address the massive volume of unstructured data that organizations generate, which reportedly makes up around 90 percent of all corporate data.

This combination enables deeper automation beyond simple script-based tasks. For example, companies can now use UiPath alongside Re:infer to automatically analyze customer communications for sentiment and generate tailored responses rather than relying on generic automated replies.
