Wyze Introduces Affordable $20 Home Sensor System
Wyze expands its budget smart home lineup with a new $20 sensor kit that pairs with its popular security cameras. The package includes motion and contact sensors to monitor doors and windows.
Wyze expands its budget smart home ecosystem with the launch of a $20 sensor system. The Wyze Sense kit includes a motion sensor, two contact sensors for doors or windows, and a bridge that connects the devices directly to a Wyze camera.
The sensors are approximately the size of a quarter and send instant alerts to the mobile app when they detect movement. Users also have the option to mount the contact sensors on refrigerators or cabinets to receive notifications if an item remains open.
This new product launch follows a recent $20 million Series A funding round for the Seattle-based company. The Wyze Sense kit is currently available for pre-order and begins shipping to customers on May 8.
