The Xbox Series X serves as the most powerful console Microsoft has ever built, while the all-digital Xbox Series S offers next-generation performance in the smallest Xbox chassis to date at a more accessible price point. Gamers have the traditional option to purchase the Series X at an estimated retail price of $499 and the Series S at $299. Developing these two consoles in parallel allows Microsoft to deliver top-tier power while simultaneously making next-generation gaming affordable for a wider audience.
To further lower the barrier to entry, Microsoft expands its Xbox All Access program to 12 countries this holiday. This subscription plan allows customers to take home a new console and 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with no upfront cost, starting at $24.99 per month. Additionally, EA Play joins the Xbox Game Pass library at no extra cost, providing even more value to subscribers on day one.
