Xiaomi officially brings the Mi 9 smartphone to Europe, showcasing a powerful device equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 processor. The phone features a 6.39-inch display and includes a dedicated physical button for Google Assistant on the side. It also offers 6GB of RAM across two different storage configurations.
The camera system stands out as a major highlight, packing a 48-megapixel main lens alongside a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Instead of following the new in-screen selfie camera trend, Xiaomi utilizes a teardrop notch to house the 20-megapixel front-facing shooter. Additionally, the device boasts 20-watt wireless charging capabilities and a 3,300mAh battery with a special Game Turbo mode for enhanced gaming performance.
European consumers can choose between a 64GB model priced at 449 euros and a 128GB model priced at 499 euros. This launch establishes Xiaomi as a strong competitor in the high-resolution smartphone camera race for 2019. The devices are set to hit the market in France and other European regions soon.
