Coralogix Acquires Aporia to Launch AI Observability and Security Platform

Observability provider Coralogix acquires AI monitoring startup Aporia to build a unified platform for tracking traditional and AI workloads. The deal also establishes a new AI research center led by Aporia's co-founders.

Observability platform Coralogix acquires AI monitoring startup Aporia to enhance its ability to track and secure artificial intelligence workloads. Aporia specializes in providing businesses with tools to set guardrails for their AI systems, helping them prevent issues like hallucinations and unintended data disclosures. By bringing Aporia's technology in-house, Coralogix fills a crucial gap in its existing suite of monitoring and analytics services.

As part of the deal, Coralogix launches Coralogix AI, a dedicated research center led by Aporia co-founders Liran Hason and Alon Gubkin. This new division focuses on integrating Aporia's capabilities into a unified monitoring platform that gives users comprehensive visibility into their data pipelines, infrastructure, applications, and AI systems. Coralogix leadership emphasizes that this move allows their existing AI-focused customers to gain better control and protection over their systems.

The acquisition reflects a broader market trend where larger technology platforms purchase specialized point solutions to meet enterprise demand for comprehensive, full-stack tools. Founded in 2019, Aporia raises a total of $30 million in funding, including a $25 million Series A in 2022 backed by investors like Tiger Global and Samsung Next. The two companies do not disclose the financial terms of the acquisition.
